Altar Decoration Committee
Comprised of volunteers who do seasonal decoration in the church (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, Etc.)
Boys and girls from grades 4-12 who assist the priest at the Mass. Adults can support bereaved families at the time of death.
Altar Society/Parish Council of Catholic Women
Welcome to all women of the Parish! This group promotes spirituality, leadership, service, and prayer. Examples of projects and activities include: the Remembrance Mass in November, Water For Life, cards for seminarians, kitchen supplies, and assistance with other parish functions. This group meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6 pm from April thru October.
Help with the monthly bake sale the last Sunday of the month by setting up and taking down tables or selling baked goods before and after Mass. Our Religious Education program receives all profit from this sale.
Board of Education Committee
This group includes teachers, helper, parents, and interested parish members. They meet the 1st Sunday of the month at 10 am.
Building and Grounds Committee
This group was formed to inspect and recommend projects for the buildings and grounds. Some projects are completed by the committee.
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. May also distribute Communion to the home-bound.
Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses and approving the annual budgets. Meetings are every 4th Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Assisting those in need. The pantry is open every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Funeral Luncheon Helpers
Assist the families of the deceased by preparing and serving a luncheon after the Funeral Mass.
Bring the gifts up to the Altar during Mass.
God’s Closet Clothing Drive
Assist with setup on Thursday and take down on Monday. This drive is held the 1st full weekend of every month: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass.
Welcome to all ages! Join together in song under the direction of Rick, our choir director, and Clarice, our organist. Sing at 9:00 am Sunday Mass as your schedule allows, at special events, and funerals.
The Parish Council is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Holy Name of Mary. They meet every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7 pm.
Social Concerns Committee
This committee helps to serve those in need in our community and through out the world. They meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at 10 am.
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church and assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.
Worship and Spiritual Life
This committee assists the Pastor in planning and providing for the Spiritual development of parish members through liturgical declarations, prayer experiences, and spiritual growth programs. They meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.
